The Oxford transmitter will switch in two stages, on 14 September 2011 (Stage One) and 28 September 2011 (Stage Two). These dates are important as you will need to re-tune your equipment at each stage of switchover, in order to continue receiving all your current services and add any new ones that commence from Stage Two. You can download model specific guides that will simplify the re-tune process and offer reassurance that you are not going to ‘mess up’ your equipment. Some households receive signals from more than one transmitter and this may mean you have to manually retune your equipment.
