| Elica Island Cooker Hoods
Listed on this page is a selection of Elica Island Cooker Hoods all of which can be used for extraction some can also be used for recirculation. Wherever possible is always best to extract rather than reticulate air from your Elica Island cooker hood as air flow is reduced on all hoods when it is passed through a carbon filter for recirculation. At O'Gormans we recommend extraction for Island Cooker hoods. When Choosing your new Elica Island Cooker Hood the hood must be powerful enough to change the air in the kitchen 12 times per hour, but at least 8 times per hour. To calculate the volume ofthe room, multiply length x width x height. An average room is approximately 25m3; therefore the extraction rate required for the average room is 200 to 300m3h.
