Built in Cooker Hoods Assorted Makes

Integrated cooker hoods and canopies come in a variety of forms. You can buy a fully integrated hood or a semi integrated cooker pull out cooker visor. When purchasing a new integrated cooker hood it is worth considering the noise level if its in a open plan kitchen and the extraction rate. Your new cooker hood must be powerful enough to change the air in the kitchen 12 times per hour, but at least 8 times per hour. To calculate the volume of the room, multiply length x width x height.  An average room is approximately 25m3; therefore the extraction rate required for the average room is 200 to 300m3h.  The minimum required as specified in the building regulations for new kitchens effective April 1990 is 108m3h.
